Application Information for International Students

The applicant must visit our school and submit all the necessary documents required for the application. The application will not be acceptable unless all the necessary documents are included.

1) Application Procedures
The end of January
■Submitting applications The school examines the submitted documents. The screening will be completed in approximately afew weeks after all the documents are submitted.
The end of February ■Entrance examination: The school conducts an interview and a written examination.
The middle of March ■ Receiving the result of the examination The successful applicants must pay tuition fees by the end of March.
The beginning of April ■Classes begin.
2) Documents required for the application
 The applicant must come to school in order to submit the following materials.
1. Certificate of Japanese Language Proficiency Exam
Copy ・ The Certificate of the 1st grade or the 2nd grade are required.
・ The telephone number of Japan Education Exchanges and Services is 03-5454-5215.
2. Enrollment application and statement of purpose for studying in Japan Size A4
English or Japanese
・ Please write your personal history including your complete educational background and employment information, beginning with your entrance to elementary school and ending with your latest place of work.
・ This is a document explaining in detail your need for studying in Japan.
3. Official certificate of graduation and official transcript from school most recently attended Original
・ In English or Japanese.
・ The certificate of Japanese Second Language course is not approved.
・ This is a document certifying that you have already completed a school abroad equivalent of graduating from a Japanese high school [secondary school], college or a similar higher educational institute.
4. Health certificate Original  
5. Passport and Alien Registration Certificate Original ・ The school will make a copy of your passport and Alien Registration Certificate.
6. Written pledge and letter of agreement regarding payment   ・ Attached a form to our school’s application Form.
7. Letter of guarantee Size A4 ・ In the letter, the guarantor shall guarantee the payment of the student’s tuition as well as any other living expenses she/he will incur during your stay in Japan, and shall supervise the students and ensure that she/he abides by the law and regulations of Japan and the rules set forth by our school.
・ Please use a family seal (Hanko) and signature.
■Qualifications of the Guarantor.
・ A person living in Japan who is Japanese and who is over 25 years old.
・ A person who has a stable occupation state and who is capable of earning a sufficient income.
・ A person who is in constant contact with the student and who is able to come to the school whenever requested to do so.
8. Certificate of citizen registration (jumin-hyo)   ・This is a document taken within three months prior to the application.
